Those that know me (or follow me on twitter) know that I love the internet! In fact my love borders obsession, and I am usually eager to join in on the newest social network or media site, however I have never joined Facebook. Long, long ago, back in 2006 I joined this “myspace” thing and my addiction began. I had heard that there was something else, similar to myspace called “facebook.” I checked into this thing, only to find out that I couldn’t join because I wasn’t a student anywhere. Understandably I was upset! So I wrote facebook off and dove head first into my myspace. A short time later I heard that facebook decided to open its website to anyone, I snubbed my nose at it, and even though I know I am being immature and childish about the whole thing, I thought, well if I wasn’t good enough for them then, then why should I sign up now? Besides, why have both Myspace and Facebook??? So as Facebook has continued to grow, I have ignored it, until now. Facebook has just announced the new app called VoiceTag that lets you send voicemail messages to individuals or groups.
According to TECHCRUNCH.Com
“ The app is very simple. You select a Facebook contact you want to leave a voice message for (or you can set up group aliases), and add an optional text message. Then, instead of using a computer microphone, you enter the number where you are at and Voicetag calls you. After leaving your message, the recipient gets a notification via Facebook and can play the Voicetag from his or her browser. You can also leave messages to groups from your cell phone by texting Voicetag. It will then call back your cell phone and you can leave a message. The service is free for now.”
Now this is an app that intrigues me, So my question to you, Internet, do I facebook or not??? Please leave a comment with your opinion! Thanks,
Facebook is really the way to go and in my opinion way better than MySpace. So many different Apps that you can add
The capability to fine tune every aspect of your profiles privacy is really awesome. Every single “box” on your profile can be turned on or off to any user or group of users of your choosing.
Also I’ve been on Facebook for almost 4 years and have been spammed twice. Random myspace friend requests seem to be a daily nuisance that I do NOT miss.
If you do join, hit me up.

m00npie says do not facebook.
personally i say go ahead.
I just wanted to let you know about an application I helped create that’s called Telephone (http://apps.facebook.com/babytel/).
Telephone lets Facebook users leave voicemail for their friends, and also talk to each other live, for free, using their computer. It’s integrated with Facebook so unlike Skype you don’t have to manually add your friends – your Facebook friends are already there.
